Nearly there!

The North Yorkshire cottage extension is nearing the end of its construction period. Work has been continuing at pace, and once the roofs to the new two storey element and porch were made water tight, internal structural works were completed, and new internal walls erected, John and his team could focus on interior finishes. The kitchen and bathroom are now in the process of being installed. In the next few days, floor and wall tiling will be completed, carpets will be installed and the final coats of paint will be applied. Needless to say, our Clients are looking forward to moving back into their brand new home!

The new kitchen is really taking shape: the walls were plastered, lined and painted before the installation of kitchen fittings and appliances commenced. Opening up the kitchen to the dining room gives a light and airy feel to the space.

The bathroom starts to take shape

The installation of a sun tube above the stairs allows light to flood into the new hall and down the stairs to the sitting room.
